THE LOOP™ PRIVACY POLICY

The Loop™, an I-Behavior service, endeavors to enhance the mobile experience by increasing the relevance of the products and services that are displayed to a user. Our mission is to deliver the most relevant offers to the right consumers while protecting the privacy of consumers and offering them a choice about participating in such activities.

In order to ensure your privacy and security:

  • The Loop™ makes product recommendations to our registered users who have consented to the sharing of personally identifiable information for the purposes of targeted mobile marketing.

  • The Loop™ does not work with any controversial offers.

What type of data is collected by The Loop™? How do we use that data?

The Loop™ receives purchase information (e.g., bought apparel) and demographics (e.g., gender data) from our clients (e.g., a multi-channel retail store) and data partners. We use this aggregated information to help our clients serve relevant offers to The Loop™ users. In addition, we only receive data from our clients when their own customers have purchased products, registered at their website or in some other way consented to having their personally identified data shared with third parties, such as I-Behavior.

When you sign up for The Loop™, we will collect an email address and/or mobile phone number from you. We may combine the information we collect from you with information about you that we receive from other online and offline sources in order to provide you with the The Loop™ service.

As part of the standard operation of the The Loop™, we may collect certain non-personal information from you including information your mobile phone automatically records and sends about your use. This may include your location, the dates and times you used the The Loop, your phone's manufacturer and model and your response to offers. We may combine this non-personal information with your personal information.

In order to help further protect consumer privacy, we de-identify and aggregate this data into audiences (e.g., an audience that likes to garden). De-identified audience data may be shared with our third-party media partners. In summary, The Loop™ utilizes the aggregated transactional data collected from its clients for use in statistical modeling to make product recommendations to The Loop™ users.
